With a strong foundation in banking operations at Stanbic IBTC Bank and prior consulting experience at KPMG, Bayo has delivered complex reform initiatives across public and private institutions. He played a pivotal role in Nigeria’s transition to the International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS), serving as consultant to the Federal Government and multiple state governments. He also initiated the development of an indigenous IPSAS-compliant public-sector accounting software, later upgraded into a comprehensive e-government ERP solution.
His advisory footprint includes contributions to national development frameworks such as the Medium-Term National Development Plan (2021–2025) and Nigeria Agenda 2050. A respected keynote speaker and capacity development facilitator, he has trained over 6,000 public servants in areas including strategic leadership, corporate governance, performance management, and governance reform.
